Summer is over and my board game blog is already a month older.
Today’s insight into its development is about reviews and how I use them on my blog. I will discuss my approach, product photos and evaluation criteria, among other things.
Of course, there are also current rankings and the development of visitor numbers from Google.
Why do I write reviews at all?
That’s a good question. Why are there board game reviews on my blog at all? After all, I don’t run a review blog like many others out there. Of the 106 articles that currently exist on my blog, just 15 are reviews.
I started the blog to write about board games and saudi arabia cell phone number list share my passion for them with others. That’s why I introduce new and old board games that I’ve played and that I like. And since I introduce relatively few games compared to many other bloggers, why should I take the time to review games that don’t interest me that much or that are just bad?
I deliberately didn’t want to get into the review grind where you’re constantly chasing after new games and forcing yourself to play them just to write a ıt is an omnichannel software that centralizes all customer review. Instead, I write about topics that I enjoy. For example, many background articles about the board game world.
Nevertheless, I have reviews on my blog. In addition to the points mentioned, this is also because Internet users often search for specific games and of course I want to be found if I have and like these games.
And I simply enjoy writing about board games that I like to play and that can also be presented so beautifully.
What is particularly important to me in reviews?
When writing reviews, everyone has their own approach. I’m not a journalist, but a board game enthusiast, and so I don’t necessarily approach the matter objectively.
I have to have played a game a few times to write cameroon business directory a review about it. Ultimately, what matters to me personally is to convey the fascination (if there is any) and atmosphere of the board game. Of course, I also talk about how the game plays, but overall I try to cover what I enjoy about the game and what I don’t.
I do research to avoid giving false information, but above all I describe my experiences and opinions in the reviews.
