According to Article 35 of Decree No. 119/2018/ND-CP (Decree 119) of the Government regulating electronic invoices when selling goods and providing italy telegram data services, the implementation of electronic invoices and electronic invoices with tax authority authentication codes for enterprises, economic organizations, other organizations, households and business individuals must be completed by November 1, 2020 at the latest.

Also on the above issue, in the official dispatch responding to Vinh Duc General Hospital Joint Stock Company, the General Department of Taxation has the following opinion: ” From November 1, 2020 , the application of electronic invoices will be implemented in accordance with Decree 119/2018/ND-CP and Circular 68/2019/TT-BTC.
To implement the Law on Tax Administration 38/QH14/2019, the Ministry of Finance drafted a replacement for Decree 119/2018/ND-CP regulating electronic invoices and documents for the Government. When the Government issues a Decree on electronic invoices and documents under the Law on Tax Administration 38/QH14/2019, it will be implemented according to the Decree regulating electronic invoices and documents .”
=> Thus, according to the opinion of the General Department of Taxation , before the Circular guiding the Law on Tax Administration and the Decree on electronic invoices and documents replacing Decree 119/2018/ND-CP, Enterprises should soon convert to electronic invoices according to Decree 119, Circular 68 to receive long-term benefits and optimize invoice management for enterprises.
