this is a real indestructible Soviet thing (my grandparents had one, I still have it)! I grew up, among other things, on Cheburashka, although I did not value this cartoon highly because it was not drawn, but fans data puppet. And I want to watch this film! But it seems that I am alone.
Eternal values can be resurrected (and even then not always). Was Cheburashka like that? I’m not sure. Not even that: I am sure that the value of domestic animation is greatly overestimated.
However, the overestimation is not due to its quality, but to its quantity: there was little of it, there were no competitors – so they valued what they had. And not only animation … Is “The Elusive Avengers” a good film? Of course not. Are the Vainer brothers good detective writers?.. And compared to Stout or Gardner? Cheburashka is nice to those who, alas, did not experience diversity.
