Burkina Faso is a landlocked Sahelian country with an area of 274,000 km2. Its population was estimated by the general census of population and housing (RGPH-2006) at 14,017,262 inhabitants, 51.7% of whom are women. More than 40% of the 14 million Burkinabe still live below the poverty line (WFP; 2012). Women are more exposed to this poverty, particularly those living in rural areas, for whom food production remains the main activity. In general, women, who provide more than 75% of subsistence production, have poor access to means of production, human capital and financial and extension services (PNG, 2009). This poor access and control over resources and factors of production, as well as climate change, compromise the food self-sufficiency of families and the income generation of this segment of the population, making them even more vulnerable.

1. MATERIALS AND METHODS
Study site
The study was conducted in. Market gardening is practiced during the dry season, which extends from October to May. The rainy season (June to September) is the
period of rainfed crops. Some men continue market gardening during the rainy season on the exundated land; this is not possible for women who are very busy with field work and family household chores. Cattle, sheep, goats, pigs and poultry farming are p
racticed in the village. Each concession raises at least one species. Animal waste is used to fertilize crops. Several market gardening perimeters have been developed around the concessions by women in support of their husbands,
thus maintaining the family character of the market gardening activity of the women of Tintilou / Pousghin. Through these developments, women fight daily in search of sensitive souls to accompany them in the realization of
projects, particularly in the field of water and the purchase of fertilizers to improve their productivity.
1.2 Sampling
With a population of 87 women, a sample of 25 producers was randomly drawn for the surveys. Among the 87 women, 80 are married and 07 are widows.
