Our educational webinar series on digital marketing kicked off last Wednesday to an overwhelming response. The topic was video marketing; specifically, Ways Video Creates Revenue, Retention, and Relationships. In that session, Ryan Kelly and Cynthia Barillas from the WSI Smart Marketing team in California, USA joined us to share six ways you can use video in core areas of your business.

1. Use video in prospecting and customer communication to boost your sales
The next time you log into GoToMeeting or Zoom (or whatever  why did we just tell a client that we are not going to continue working with them? technology you use for your virtual meetings), turn on your webcam. Sharing your webcam while conducting a virtual meeting humanizes the c shopping data onversation with your prospect or client. With text, you can’t read someone’s emotions or passions, nor can you share your full interest in another’s business as effectively as you can with video.

2. Use video in your emails to improve your customer service

Providing exceptional customer service isn’t always about how quickly you respond to their questions or solve their problems. Often, we improve customer service by the kind of rapport we develop with them. Using a video in your emails to share a brief “step-by-step,” the results of a service you just provided, or simply saying hello will take your customer communications to the next level.
